Mark G. Sexton has been promoted to executive vice president and chief lending officer at Bank of Cape Cod. He has 30 years of banking experience, including expertise in originating new commercial loan and lease business.

Prior to joining Bank of Cape Cod, Sexton was a Vice President at The First National Bank of Boston and its successor, Fleet Bank, as well as at Eastern Bank and GE Capital.

He joined Bank of Cape Cod as part of the original management team in 2006.
