Hitachi Capital America Mourns Passing of Chris Cook

The following message was forwarded to the Monitor from the folks at Hitachi Capital America:

It is with great sorrow that we mourn the passing of our friend, business associate & colleague, Christopher L. Cook, Vice President & General Manager of the Indirect Finance Business at Hitachi Capital America.

Christopher passed away early the morning of April 14, 2014, with his wife at his side, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He had just celebrated his 48th birthday. His gentle demeanor and smile will be greatly missed along with his excellent business acumen & patience in dealing with complicated financing structures to make them better understood & marketable.

He was a 17-year employee of HCA, having spent his 26-year career in the equipment finance & leasing business. Christopher leaves a wife, Camila, and a 3-year old daughter Kirsten.

Please remember Christopher & his family in your thoughts & prayers.

There will be a wake this Wednesday, April 16th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Lesko & Poole Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824.
