Volvo Rents Names Tavianini VP, Sales & Marketing

Volvo Rents said it appointed Matt Tavianini as vice president of sales & marketing.

Tavianini, an 18-year veteran of the rental industry, will be responsible for implementing formal programs, systems and processes to align and integrate the company’s sales and marketing functions.

“This was an easy decision, the right decision, as we implement a purposeful plan to take our business to the next level,” said Barry Natwick, president of Volvo Rents, noting the company’s new strategic course to not only operate a franchise network of rental stores, but also manage and grow a network of company-owned stores. “Matt shares the same values, passion and innate desire to keep our business successful. His appointment is yet another reason for us to look to the future with great enthusiasm.”

Tavianini brings a wealth of operations and management knowledge to the position, including significant field experience. Tavianini began his career as a branch manager with Hertz Equipment Rental, before joining Volvo Rents in 2006 as the Mid-Atlantic district manager. Most recently, he served as a regional sales manager.

“Volvo Rents is the perfect opportunity to work with one of the rental industry’s premier players and enhance a network that is poised for aggressive growth in various markets throughout the world,” Tavianini said. “I look forward to working alongside an extremely talented sales and marketing team and drive Volvo Rents’ success well into the future.”
