Volvo Group announced its truck deliveries in North America totaled 3,903 in August, a 22% increase over the same month the previous year. The year-to-date change for 2014 compared to 2013 showed a 31% increase, from 28,041 in 2013 to 36,673 this year.

Volvo brand truck deliveries in North America were 2,246 in August 2014, a 31% increase over the same month the previous year, when deliveries were 1,708. Year-to-date, Volvo brand truck deliveries reached 21,709, a 39% increase over 2013’s year-to-date figure of 15,565.

Mack brand truck deliveries of 1,649 in North America in August 2014 marked a 13% increase over the same month one year ago and a 22% year-to-date increase, at 14,839 in 2014 versus 12,167 in 2013.
