AerCap Holdings signed lease agreements for 279 aircraft, purchased 38 aircraft, executed sale transactions for 141 aircraft and signed financing transactions for $4.6 billion during the course of 2016.
In Q4/16 the aircraft lessor signed lease agreements for 56 aircraft, including 21 wide-body and 35 narrow-body aircraft. It also purchased 19 aircraft, including 14 Airbus A320neos, three Airbus A350-900s and two Boeing 787-9s.
In addition, during the quarter, AerCap executed sale transactions for 41 aircraft, including two Airbus A319-100s, 11 Airbus A320-200s, two Airbus A321-100s, three Airbus A321-200s, six Airbus A330-200s, three Airbus A330-300s, one Boeing 737 Classic, six Boeing 737NGs, two Boeing 757-200s and one Boeing 767-300ER from AerCap’s owned portfolio, and one Airbus A320-200, one Airbus A330-200 and two Boeing 737 Classics from AerCap’s managed portfolio.
The company also signed financing transactions for $1.7 billion during Q4/16.
