Clifford was recently appointed to the first-ever Women in the Trailer Industry Committee by the North America Trailer Dealer Association (NATDA). At this past year’s NATDA conference, Clifford assisted with leading the committee’s Women in Business roundtable and networking event, bringing together women in the trailer industry for an afternoon of collaboration. Her involvement in leading the committee’s event is commendable as it shows a commitment to creating opportunities and resources for women in the industry. Clifford noted the community created from this initial event was truly remarkable to see. She recognizes the significance of connecting women in a predominantly male industry. Clifford actively strives to foster a community for women in equipment finance, serving as an advocate and mentor. Her commitment extends to advancing the careers of those entering the industry.

Throughout her career, Clifford has built many meaningful and lasting industry relationships. For example, she has built great relationships in the trailer division, with some of the largest manufacturers nationwide, and manages to build long-lasting relationships and partnerships wherever she goes.

Clifford’s advice to aspiring female professionals in the industry is a call to embrace discomfort, work hard and actively seek opportunities. She champions the belief that stepping out of one’s comfort zone is key to uncovering untapped potential. “Success lies just beyond the borders of comfort,” Clifford says. “Embrace the uncomfortable, for it is the birthplace of growth, resilience and extraordinary achievement.”

Clifford’s impact reverberates not only within MAZO but also across the industry, where her leadership, work ethic and dedication to inclusivity mark her as a standout professional.
