WSJ: VW Makes $2.9B Bid for Navistar



The Wall Street Journal reported that Volkswagen’s trucking unit made an unsolicited offer for Navistar International.

The proposed transaction would be valued at $2.9 billion, the Journal noted.

If Navistar accepts the proposal it would merge two of the biggest global truck manufacturers.
