CFLA Opens Registration for First In-Person National Annual Conference Since 2019

The Canadian Finance and Leasing Association (CFLA) opened registration for its National Annual Conference, which will be held from Sept. 20 to Sept. 22 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The event will be the first in-person conference from the CFLA since 2019.

The CFLA conference will feature an opening reception on Sept. 20 along with plenaries, workshops and social events on Sept. 21 and Sept. 22. The conference will also include more than 36 hours of networking opportunities. Rick Mercer, a Canadian television personality, political satirist and author, will headline the event as the keynote speaker. Industry experts will also provide in-depth political and economic plenaries that focus on recovery and the industry’s role in helping Canadians succeed in the wake of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our last in-person conference in 2019 brought over 500 industry leaders from across Canada, the U.S. and beyond,” Michael Rothe, president and CEO of the CLFA, said. “Attendees consistently rank networking and business development as their primary reasons for attending. As this is the first time for them to be together in person again after two years, we designed this year’s conference to emphasize those needs.”
