Cory Krogen, Senior Vice President of Sales, East Region, Channel

Cory Krogen, CLFP, started his career at Channel in 2009, rising to his current role of senior vice president of sales for the eastern region of the United States. Krogen spearheads a sales team with a responsibility for establishing and executing sales strategy, growing partner relationships and expanding Channel’s product penetration for working capital and equipment finance.

“I have held many roles at Channel and each offered an opportunity to demonstrate my passion and leadership abilities,” Krogen says. “I am particularly proud of my contributions toward developing Channel’s Gateway to Success sales training program that provides partners with a powerful process and best practices to fortify customer relationships.”

Among the first to receive his CLFP designation at Channel, Krogen works to lead by example, both to encourage and support his team’s professional development. Krogen motivates others to grow by maintaining a focus on high-level management efforts while entrusting day-to-day tasks to his team. This method allows Krogen to be a reliable leader and to work tirelessly on those management efforts to ensure his team’s needs have been met.

Krogen’s leadership style is rooted in creating a positive workplace culture across the entire organization. He fosters this through hard work and a dedicated focus on establishing a collaborative team approach that guides everyone’s efforts toward cohesive and mutual success. Instilling trust and inspiring his team to seize opportunities or to overcome challenges remains one of Krogen’s most rewarding experiences as a leader. This extends to mentorship, which Krogen intentionally seeks out to a build a growth-minded team that collectively engages in cross-level development, something Krogen believes fuels top-performing teams and creates relationships that deliver on Channel’s win together promise.
