To maintain a healthy work-life balance, Megan Myo believes you must be intentional with your time. She advises other leaders to give their best effort at work, keep focused each day and accomplish what you can and know when to walk away. Myo believes it is necessary to be fully present with your loved ones. She believes maintaining this balance will help prevent burnout, but she recognizes that achieving it takes patience and the ability to stay realistic. “My children are looking at me as an example of what it means to work hard and show up consistently for the people you love. I take pride in that,” Myo says.

The path to leadership for Myo was a well-rounded one. She has worked in a variety of roles both within the industry and LTi Technology Solutions. She started on the client side, using software products to process business, and moved to the vendor side to help support other clients using LTi’s software to process their business. On this path, Myo saw different leadership styles and team dynamics. Each new role came with its own set of valuable lessons, but there was always the common theme of communication and collaboration as imperatives. Myo always looks for opportunities to collaborate with more people to help gain and understand additional perspectives.

Myo had opportunities to be involved in an ASPIRE software implementation while working for a client before joining LTi. This experience helped her build a strong foundation as she transitioned toward project management, eventually becoming PMO manager. Taking the knowledge she has gleaned from LTi’s products and daily interactions with clients, Myo has used her knowledge and experience to help improve and establish processes and to be a driving force within the organization.
