Responsible for leading the sales, client relationship and portfolio servicing teams, Sarah Kelly plays a crucial role in developing the sales strategy at Dedicated Financial GBC. As director of portfolio servicing and sales, Kelly sets and achieves the sales goals for the company’s two financial markets, equipment leasing and revenue-based financing.

Having grown up in the equipment financing industry, Kelly started to work professionally in equipment leasing in 2009. “I made the switch to service provider in 2022,” Kelly says. “While in the equipment lease industry I held positions from sales, operations, systems and accounting. This allowed me the opportunity to gain immense knowledge in the interworking of each position of the company.”

Kelly says the ability to learn about her staff and figure out their unique professional qualifications that align with their personalities assists her in understanding what motivates the team. In doing so, Kelly is able to set clear intentions for her department’s goals.

“My resilience and the ability to bounce back from adversity is what makes me special,” Kelly says. “Growing up in a very male dominated industry gave me the ability to inspire other women and ignite a spark to encourage them to stand out in the crowd.”

With her father holding a CEO role in equipment leasing, Kelly never took any handouts and turned adversity into empowerment for herself to become a leader within an industry she loves. Dedicated Financial GBC has been there to support Kelly achieve her goals and more, and as a mother of four boys, Kelly says she is grateful for her company’s flexibility in working remotely or in a hybrid setting.

“In today’s work environment, not all jobs need to be done completely from the office,” Kelly says. “The most important things to do to achieve work life balance is to set priorities and establish boundaries.”
