The U.S. Census Bureau announced new orders for manufactured durable goods in October decreased $2.8 billion to $236.0. Transportation equipment, following two consecutive monthly increases, drove the decrease. read more

November U.S. machine tool orders were down 15.5% sequentially and 14.5% compared to the same month in 2013. Despite the monthly dip, the YTD total of $4.6 billion was up 2.6% compared to the same period in 2013. read more

The Census Bureau said new orders for manufactured durable goods in November decreased $1.7 billion or 0.7% to $242.3 billion. Unfilled orders, however, increased to its highest level since the NAICS was first published in 1992. read more
