The CLP Foundation said it accepted and approved 18 applications for 2012, an increase of 450% from the previous year. Ten of those individuals passed the exam in 2012 and the rest are either studying to take the exam or planning to re-sit for it.
The following gained their CLP certification in 2012: Mark Bearden, First American Equipment Finance; Lori Dean, Arvest Equipment Finance; Adam Fay, First American Equipment Finance; John Harders, Arvest Equipment Finance; Brian Link, InSource Capital Services; Bryan Murphy, First American Equipment Finance; Lou Narrow, Credential Leasing; Krista Pressnall, Financial Pacific Leasing; Julio Talledo, First American Equipment Finance; and Sarah VanNostrand, First American Equipment Finance.
The Foundation also said that its Board added the position of chairman of the board and elected Bob Teichman, CLP – Teichman Financial Training, who noted, “I am honored and excited to be returning to the CLP Foundation Board of Directors, particularly now when Certification is needed and appreciated more than ever. As one who has been associated with the CLP Program since its inception, I hope to use my extensive knowledge of the Program to assist the Board and the Executive Director in the continuing improvement and expansion of the CLP Program.”
