CSI EPC Expands to Vancouver

Toronto-based CSI Electronics Processing Centre, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CSI Leasing Canada, has expanded its operations by opening a facility in Vancouver, BC. This new facility complements CSI EPC’s existing operations in Toronto, Ontario and Calgary, AL.

“This expansion will help us better serve our customers on the West coast, not to mention save them a substantial amount in logistics costs and transit times,” said Colin Taves, vice president and general manager of CSI EPC. “Protecting Canada and the global environment from harmful e-waste through reuse and proper disposal techniques is part of our mission. Now we can continue to expand on that mission from coast-to-coast.”

Mike Kubala is joining CSI EPC as general manager of Western Canada and will oversee operations in the new facility. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the asset recovery, recycling and IT resale industries. The facility is set to open February 1, 2019 and expects to process more than 20,000 IT assets annually. It is located in a growing commercial and light industrial sector of Pitt Meadows, British Columbia.

As part of CSI Leasing’s global group, CSI EPC also manages asset disposal for parent company, CSI Leasing Canada, processing thousands of off-lease technology assets every month. It provides reliable and secure end-of-life and lease disposal for large multi-national companies, local governments and educational organizations.
