Wintrust Commercial Finance Expands Direct Origination Platform

Olayinka Sanusi and Ken Andreozzi joined the Wintrust Commercial Finance’s direct originations group. Sansui will be located in San Francisco focusing on direct originations in the west region. Ken will be located in Philadelphia. Both will join the national team led by Joe Thompson, WCF executive vice president and chief operating officer.

“We are rounding out our core direct team. Ola brings tremendous energy and very solid technical skills, which will be invaluable in building out our West Coast presence,” Thompson said. “I have known Ken for over 20 years. His approach to customers and transactions fits well with our business model. He understands our target market and knows how to structure transactions that meet both our customer needs as well as WCF lending criteria.”

Sanusi brings 10 years of commercial finance experience, global management, auditing and IT experience to WCF, including positions at GE Capital and JPMorgan Chase. Before joining the team, he was vice president and relationship manager at JP Morgan Chase covering the northern California market. Andreozzi has had a distinguished career with Finova, Merrill Lynch Capital, as well as Peoples Capital, GE Capital and Transamerica.

“Anyone who has built a team knows how demanding and rewarding it can be,” Thompson said. “With a couple other forthcoming announcements, I am happy to say we are fully staffed in our direct origination platform for this year. Our plan is to finish the year strong and continue our momentum going into 2017.”
