Transervice Logistics, a provider of fleet maintenance and transportation solutions, appointed Doug Adamson to the executive team as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Adamson will oversee the company’s North American sales organization and direct all marketing efforts with a focus on creating strategic initiatives for new business development.

Adamson has more than 25 years of experience in sales and sales management in transportation, logistics and logistics design. He most recently served as vice president of sales for Penske Logistics in Dallas, where he was responsible for sales growth, customer retention, recruiting and the leading of a team of sales executives in the western U.S. Prior to that, Adamson spent 15 years with Penske Truck Leasing as an area sales manager, regional account executive and lease sales representative.
