AerCap Leased, Purchased and Sold 108 Aircraft in Q2/17



AerCap Holdings’ major business transactions during Q2/17 included:

  • Purchased and sold 108 aircraft in Q2/17
  • Signed lease agreements for 65 aircraft, including 18 widebody and 47 narrowbody aircraft
  • Purchased 11 aircraft, including eight Airbus A320neos, one Airbus A321neo and two Boeing 787-9s
  • Executed sale transactions for 32 aircraft, including two Airbus A319-100s, six Airbus A320-200s, one Airbus A321-100, three Airbus A321-200s, two Airbus A330-200s, one Airbus A330-300, one Boeing 737 Classic, three Boeing 737NGs, three Boeing 757-200s and two Boeing 767-300ERs from AerCap’s owned portfolio, and one Airbus A319-100, one Airbus A320-200, three Boeing 737 Classics, one Boeing 737NG and two Boeing 757-200s from AerCap’s managed portfolio

In addition, AerCap signed an agreement with Boeing for an order of 30 787-9 aircraft.

As of June 30, 2017 AerCap had 1,539 owned, managed or on order aircraft in its portfolio and serves approximately 200 customers in approximately 80 countries with fleet solutions.
