Air Lease Announces Lease Placement of 10 Airbus A320 Aircraft with Allegiant

Air Lease announced long-term lease placements for 10 used Airbus A320-200 aircraft with Allegiant. The aircraft are scheduled to deliver to the airline between fall 2021 and summer 2022.

“We are pleased to announce this lease placement for 10 used Airbus A320s with new customer Allegiant,” Steven F. Udvar-Házy, executive chairman of Air Lease, said. “These young A320 ALC aircraft will complement Allegiant’s all Airbus fleet and support their growing North America operations.”

“Bringing these 10 aircraft into Allegiant’s fleet provides a number of advantages aligned with our unique business model and goals,” Robert Neal, senior vice president for corporate finance and treasurer at Allegiant, said. “As young, sharklet-equipped sister ships, they will not only afford efficient induction into our all Airbus fleet but will also provide years of utilization beyond the typical life of previously-operated aircraft. This transaction will be a valuable component of our fleet plan for 2022 and beyond.”
