According to Reuters, AirAsia valued Asia Aviation Capital, its leasing unit, at 4.1 billion ringgit ($1 billion).
Reuters also reported that the Malaysian airline wants to attain an equity investor for the unit by the end of the year and expand the portfolio of AAC to 200 aircraft in the next five years.
