Stratos, an independent aircraft asset manager, hired Nate Graddy as vice president of business development based in the company’s Tokyo office.
Graddy joined Stratos after 12 years at Boeing, where he held multiple positions across the company. Graddy’s last role was with Boeing Capital as senior director of customer finance. In that role, Graddy had responsibility for airline and lessor relationships and aircraft finance market development in Japan and Korea. In previous positions, Graddy was part of the European customer finance team and led the development of Boeing Capital’s annual Current Aircraft Finance Market Outlook. Prior to joining Boeing Capital in 2014, Graddy served as international trade policy director at Boeing Commercial Airplanes and strategy and operations director for Boeing Japan. Graddy has lived in Japan for 13 of the past 25 years and speaks Japanese at a business level.
“We are excited to continue growing our team here in Asia. As such, I’m extremely pleased to welcome Nate on board with his wealth of contacts and experience with both airlines and investors in the region,” Jason Bewley, head of business development at Stratos, said. “Stratos has a substantial client base in Japan and Korea which we continue to serve and grow.”
