Alfa Publishes Whitepaper on Software-as-a-Service and Cloud Services

Alfa, provider of Alfa Systems, a cloud-native technology platform for auto and equipment finance companies, published a new paper on software-as-a-service and cloud services. Titled “Cloud Services: Finding Success with SaaS,” the whitepaper covers the different deployment models available, the factors technology teams should consider when making deployment decisions and the consequent evolution of cloud deployment models. It also uncovers the impact of cloud deployments on the delivery of complex enterprise system transformation projects.

“The agile series guides decision-makers and project leads on how to approach modern enterprise software implementations,” Chze Ling Wee, co-author of the whitepaper and member of solution architecture team at Alfa, said. “SaaS and cloud represent a huge part of that, so we hope the insights we share are useful.”

This whitepaper is the fourth publication in the Alfa’s Innovation in Implementation series in which Alfa’s experts draw on their talent and experience to discuss ways agile methods can be used to deliver quickly and often. Entries in the series present the main challenges to consider when operating within a complex systems landscape, including interdependent factors that aren’t easy to separate into manageable chunks. Previous papers have discussed phased implementations, complex data migrations and systems integration.
