AllTranstek, a non-asset-based rail fleet management provider hired David Campbell (NDT services and ASNT Level III consultant), Ed Rugh (inspection team), Jason Ankeny (fleet management) and Michael Shirley (railroad damage services).

“We’re beyond thrilled to add to the AllTranstek team,” Jeff Wilson, president of AllTranstek, said. “The collective experience of our newest members will be such a valuable resource to our current clients and will be a selling point for potential clients.”

Campbell has 30 years of NDE/welding experience and began his career in railcar manufacturing. His background includes experience in railcar manufacturing, power generation and Department of Transportation infrastructure. Campbell holds ASNT Level IIIs in radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), penetrant testing (PT), magnetic particle testing (MT) and visual testing (VT).

Rugh started his railcar career with Rescar in 1983 and moved his way up to the plant manager position in Elk Mills MD. He has worked with Baker Inspection Services and American Railcar Industries and was a rail maintenance specialist with LyondellBasell. Rugh most recently worked for EMS Management Houston.

Ankeny has been in the rail industry since 2007. He has held a number of positions, including cleaning/valve supervisor, QA manager, customer service manager, plant manager and regional general manager.

Shirley has a degree in civil engineering and 27 years of rail experience. He has been a warehouse supervisor, a purchasing assistant/national contract assistant, AAR billing clerk, AAR billing coordinator and system support assistant.

“Conventional wisdom told us to hunker down for the time being,” Wilson said. “But that wouldn’t be in keeping with our company mission. We owe it to our customers to be the most knowledgeable experts in the industry. Dave, Ed, Jason and Michael are surely that.”
