Thomas Callahan took on the role of director, Business Development, Diversified Industries, in Kansas City for BMO Harris. Callahan will be part of BMO Harris Bank’s Business Development Group, and he will focus on developing prospects and converting them to customers throughout the region.

“Tom  has a big mandate, to source new commercial banking business throughout Kansas City and the surrounding area, and with his industry expertise and his intimate knowledge of the local market, I have no doubt that he’ll be successful,” said Rich Rodgers, Group head, Business Development, BMO Harris Bank. “Tom’s collaborative approach and passion for providing a great customer experience exhibited throughout his many years in the financial services industry will be key to the growth of our business and the BMO brand.”

Callahan has over 25 years of banking and financial services experience included a 15 year span with Wells Fargo Bank. He will work closely with Chad Rock, managing director of the Kansas Diversified Industries team, as well as the bank’s product and industry specialty teams.

Callahan is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association of Corporate Growth.
