Bank of America Merrill Lynch promoted Stacey Hadash to managing director and the Metro New York Market Executive for Global Commercial Banking. She will oversee banking teams that cover New York City and Long Island, providing a full range of solutions to companies with revenues of $50 million to $2 billion.
Hadash will be responsible for delivering the entire enterprise to clients, including investment banking and capital markets, credit, syndications, global treasury services, leasing, risk management, global markets and wealth management.
Previously, she was chief operating officer for the firm’s Global Capital Markets business, which includes equity capital markets, investment grade capital markets, leveraged finance, derivatives and foreign exchange origination.
Hadash joined the firm in 2005 from The New York Stock Exchange, where she was managing director and head of Financial Planning. Prior to that, she worked with former Texas Governor Ann Richards at Public Strategies, a communications consulting firm.
Hadash began her finance career as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. She later worked for the mergers and acquisitions group at Goldman Sachs in both New York and London.
Earlier in her career, Hadash worked on economic policy in the 1992 Clinton/Gore campaign. Following the election, she was appointed as a special assistant in the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.
