Boston Financial Closes $500K in Deals

Boston Financial & Equity closed two deals totaling $500,000 with a drug development company and a cloud computing technology firm.

The first deal was with a company founded in 2015 with a $15 million investment from a global healthcare investment firm. The company focuses on new drug development and therapy using a patient’s own cells. Although the company only has four months of cash left, it does have remaining availability on a line with an investor. The equipment, an imaging system, is used to evaluate drug candidates for delivery into the tissue.

The second new lessee incorporated a year ago, and already has partnered with a tier one technology manufacturing company in Japan. It has raised a $3 million seed round and is expecting to raise an eight-figure series A once it finalizes its software. Its technology will aim to transform cloud computing. It is currently on a first schedule of equipment consisting of services and switches for R&D.
