Clarus Capital hired Jarrod Hicks as a director in its investment origination group. In this role, Hicks will focus on new client acquisitions, the expansion of existing client partnerships and the generation of financing opportunities with middle-market companies in the construction, manufacturing and transportation markets. Hicks will be based in Florida and will report to Matt Worman, head of direct investment origination at Clarus Capital.

Hicks has more than 15 years of experience sourcing and structuring equipment financing for clients across the United States. Prior to joining Clarus Capital, he was a senior vice president at SLR Equipment Finance, where he was responsible for new business development opportunities. Previously, Hicks worked in the equipment finance groups at CIT and First National Capital.
