The Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) Foundation announced that 11 individuals who recently sat through the 8-hour online CLFP exam have passed. Of the 11, nine attended the Academy for Lease and Finance Professionals (ALFP) in Denver, hosted by BSB Leasing in early November.

The newest CLFPs are:

• Beth Blumenthal– vice president of Commerce Bank
• Rebecca Drake – assistant vice president and equipment finance officer for First American Equipment Finance
• John Germaske – vice president of First American Equipment Finance
• Ron Gonzales – chief operating officer of BSB Leasing
• Katharine Harris – documentation manager for GSG Financial
• Thomas Hotard – contract administrator for Commerce Bank
• Judi Jenkins – president of Global Financial & Leasing Service
• Rob Mater – assistant vice president of sales for 1st Source Bank
• Kendra Rothschild – controller for Quality Leasing
• Spencer Sundahl – national account manager for BSB Leasing
• Kevin Vick – president of Ridgeline Financial

I chose to participate in the CLFP program because this industry is complex, and furthering my education whenever possible makes good sense,” Vick said. “The CLFP program has taken my knowledge base to an entirely new level, giving me in-depth understanding of different laws, rules and programs that are essential to understand if we’re to be a consultant to the client, and earn the trust of the companies we work with.”
