The ELFA and the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation said they will announce the results of a study on the impact of proposed lease accounting changes on the U.S. economy on December 7.

The study, “Economic Impacts of the Proposed Changes to Lease Accounting Standards,” was conducted for the Foundation by IHS and found that the lease accounting proposal could cause a widespread negative impact on the U.S. economy.

The study will be released with a highlight summary at 8 a.m. EST on Wednesday, December 7.
