ELFA Releases Details About 2024 Legal Forum

The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association released the agenda for its 2024 Legal Forum and recognized the members who are serving on its 2024 legal committee. The forum will be held from May 5 to May 7 and offered both in-person in Scottsdale, AZ and virtually at a discounted rate. Attendees will receive 12 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits plus one Ethics Credit.

“Whether you are a seasoned attendee of the Legal Forum or a first-time participant, you will not want to miss this year’s exceptional programming and opportunities to learn and network with colleagues from the equipment finance industry,” Molly Simon, CLFP, senior legal counsel at DLL and chair of the ELFA’s legal committee, which helps to plan and host the forum, said. “This supportive group is dedicated to assisting members in expanding their expertise and connections. Furthermore, as the regulatory landscape and transaction complexities in our industry persistently evolve, the Legal Forum serves as a vital platform for attendees to collectively confront and navigate these challenges.”

The 2024 Legal Forum will provide attorneys serving the equipment finance industry with updates on legal issues, practical takeaways for their daily practice and comprehensive discussions of key market segments. Breakout sessions and roundtables will cover a range of hot topics, including fraud, UCC filings, climate finance, Section 1071, state disclosure laws and more. General sessions will include the popular Legal Update. In addition, a variety of networking opportunities and a trivia competition are being planned.
