Embraer 2017 Business Aircraft Deliveries Off From 2016



Embraer delivered a total of 109 executive aircraft (72 light and 37 large) in 2017, which compared to a total of 117 executive jets (73 light and 44 large) in 2016.

During the year 2017, Embraer delivered 101 commercial aircraft which compared to 108 commercial jets in 2016.

Considering all deliveries as well as firm orders obtained during the period, the company’s firm order backlog decreased $0.5 billion during Q4/17 to end the year at $18.3 billion.

In Q4/17, Embraer unveiled its newest aircraft, the Phenom 300E, with enhancements for the Phenom 300, which in 2017 was confirmed once again as the most delivered light jet, for the sixth consecutive year.

In 2017, Embraer commenced discussions with Boeing regarding a possible business combination. The plane maker noted it is already in active partnerships in various areas with Boeing.

In its guidance for deliveries, the Executive Jets segment remains the same for 2018 as compared to 2017, with a total delivery forecast of 105 to 120 business jets (70-80 light, 35-45 large).
