KS StateBank expanded Jaymie Paavola-Luckert’s leadership role in government finance. A vice president for the bank, Paavola-Luckert’s will now be managing the payment and servicing reconciliation department for Baystone Government Finance, the bank’s municipal financing division, where she will oversee day-to-day operations. Paavola-Luckert will be taking over for Marsha Jarvis, who is retiring as senior vice president of lending operations for Baystone Government Finance.

“Jaymie has worked hard throughout the growth and changes in government finance. Her achievements have paid off,” Jarvis said.

Baystone Government Finance, in conjunction with KS StateBank, has been providing municipal financing since 1987. Paavola-Luckert will oversee a professional team that assists government and nonprofit entities in financing equipment, infrastructure improvements and facilities.

Paavola-Luckert joined KS StateBank in 2010 as a documentation processor and three years later was named documentation supervisor, becoming an integral part of developing departmental efficiencies. In 2020, Paavola-Luckert was promoted to vice president of government finance and she currently manages the entire pre-funding staff, including contract preparation, the client relations staff and funding operations.

“In the last 12 years, I have worked in every department of government finance,” Paavola-Luckert said. “I love learning new things; it motivates me every day. I also enjoy sharing that knowledge with others. We are looking to adjust to this post-COVID world and will continue to serve our customers with the great one-on-one service that we’ve always offered. And as new needs come about, we want to be here to help them.”
