Lampert-run Hedge Fund Wants to Buy Kenmore Brand for $400MM



The Wall Street Journal reported that ESL Investments, the hedge fund of Sears CEO Edward Lampert, sent an offer letter to buy the company’s iconic Kenmore appliance brand for $400 million.

According to the Journal, a “special board committee” was formed by the company as it examines its options.
