LeaseAccelerator, the pioneer in the Enterprise Lease Accounting software market, announced that CFO David McCullough was named a winner of the 2018 Finance Monthly CFO Awards. Every year, the Finance Monthly CFO Awards celebrate the achievements of some of the most respected CFOs across a wide variety of sectors and industries globally.

McCullough joined LeaseAccelerator as CFO in 2015 shortly after the company completed its Series A funding round. In his first year, McCullough focused on re-engineering the company’s corporate functions including finance, accounting, contracts and procurement to allow for scalability, future growth and international expansion. He upgraded financial systems, instituted new corporate performance metrics and re-engineered business processes to be consistent with best-in-class SaaS providers.

As growth began to accelerate, McCullough turned his attention to helping the sales organization, getting closely involved with negotiating new contracts at large accounts. He also played a central role in managing the company’s cash flow and fundraising activities as the company navigated through periods of explosive growth. Earlier this year the company secured $30 million in a Series B funding round from Insight Venture Partners, following a record-breaking year of hypergrowth that included a tripling of revenues and quadrupling of the customer base.

Prior to joining LeaseAccelerator, McCullough worked in a number of CEO, CFO, controller and senior vice president level roles at various technology, business process outsourcing and systems engineering companies, including ANHAM FCZO, Deltek Systems and Gyrofalcon Group. McCullough is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Virginia and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
