Manac Trailers USA appointed Jerry Rothwell regional sales manager for the Southeast U.S. Rothwell joins Manac with more than 25 years of experience in sales and support.

Rothwell will be responsible for overseeing Manac’s actual dealership base and developing new partnerships for Manac in the Southeast U.S. territory.

Prior his arrival at Manac, he held the position of director of business development for a U.S, specialized equipment trailer manufacturer in the U.S.

He entered the transportation industry as a truck manager for a national truck rental and leasing company. This position led him to a successful dealership sales manager appointment for a heavy equipment rental and leasing company. Finally Rothwell transitioned to become VP of dealer sales and later director of heavy haul business development for a major trailer manufacturer.

“We have identified growth opportunities for Manac in this region and knew we needed to bring on a new team member to seize these opportunities,” said Tom Ramsden, vice president of sales and marketing for Manac. “Jerry was the perfect candidate. He has a solid understanding of our industry, is a great communicator and he brings a proven track record in sales. He will be a tremendous asset to our customers and dealers on many levels.”
