Marquette Transportation Finance added David Fortner as vice president of sales. Reporting to DiAne P. Reed, Marquette’s national sales manager, Fortner will be responsible for new business in the Southeast region of the U.S.

Fortner brings over 20 years of experience and expertise in a numberf of business activities including factoring and asset based lending.

Before joining Marquette, Fortner served as business development officer in the accounts receivable financing area most recently for The Southern Bank. Prior to that, he was VP of sales at AeroFund Financial and also spent several years in the transportation factoring sector for FreightCheck, a division of Bibby Financial Services.
