May’s Top Woodworking Equipment Lenders Account for 65.8% of Total



Statistical data for the woodworking equipment market provided by EDA showed the top 20 lenders in the segment, in the aggregate, filed financing statements covering a total of 73 woodworking equipment related filings during the month of May 2018.

The top lenders, in filings, included:

  • UniFi Equipment Finance (10)
  • Biesse America (9)
  • Tie – Stiles Machinery and Geneva Capital (8)
  • Stearns Bank (7)
  • 1st National Bank (6)

The top lenders, including the two tied for third, accounted for 65.8% of the total, or 48 filings. The top lender, UniFi Equipment Finance, accounted for a 13.7% share of the total.

The top five woodworking equipment buyers (location/brands/filings) included:

  • Pavelka Aircraft Interior (Texas/Grizzly, Safety-Speed/6)
  • Peachtree Protective Covers (Georgia/Axyz/4)
  • Freelance Enterprises (Colorado/Altendorf Brandt, Homag/4)
  • Systematic Screen Printing (Illinois/Homag, Belfab/3)
  • Stair Shop (New York/Felder/2)
