Med One Group, a medical equipment leasing, rental and sales company headquartered in Sandy, UT added Andy D’Ascenzo to its board of directors.
D’Ascenzo is currently serving as the global vice president of Sales at Qualcomm Life. His responsibilities include global sales strategy, sales process, training and organizational design. During his career. D’Ascenzo has experience in the medical device industry with multiple executive sales positions within Alaris Medical Systems, Cardinal Health, CareFusion and Becton Dickinson.
The Med One board of directors includes Med One President and CEO Larry R. Stevens, Med One Executive Vice President and Co-Owner Brent H. Allen, Robert C. Gross, Lane A. Summerhays, Randy C. Emery, Tricia L. Schumann, William J. Brady and Richard H. Madsen.
D’Ascenzo joins Madsen as the latest addition to the Board. Madsen was appointed to be the new corporate secretary back in 2016. Madsen is a director and shareholder in the Salt Lake City law firm of Ray Quinney & Nebeker and manages all of the firm’s associate attorneys. He has experience in representing businesses in Utah and throughout the U.S. including banks, equipment finance and leasing companies, new motor vehicle dealerships and real estate developers. Madsen has been included on the list of The Best Lawyers in America in Banking and Finance Law. He has served as Med One’s corporate counsel for 12 years.
