Mitsui Rail Capital Names Vaughan VP of Sales, Marketing and Business Development



Railcar leasing company Mitsui Rail Capital appointed Bryan F. Vaughan vice president of sales, marketing and business development. Vaughan has more than 30 years of experience in transportation and logistics, including 15 years with Class I railroads.

“We are extremely excited to have Bryan join the leadership team here at MRC,” Kevin Cook, president of Mitsui Rail Capital, said. “Bryan brings us a wealth of experience from his time working with the Class I railroads and two other railcar leasing companies. Bryan has a real passion for our industry and the leasing business, which will make him a great addition to our team as we continue to grow our business at MRC”

Vaughan also has experience with EDI implementation, rail cost analysis and product line management, as well as sales for large bulk commodities accounts. Prior to joining Mitsui Rail Capital, Vaughan served as commercial leader of sales and marketing for railcar leasing at VTG Rail for six years. He also served as international director of sales and marketing while at Canadian National Railway for six years and vice president of sales and marketing while at GE Capital Rail Services for a decade.

Along with his professional experience, Vaughan sits on the executive board of the Midwest Association of Rail Shippers and was a recent president of the Traffic Club of Chicago.
