Herschel Salan was promoted to president of NEC Financial Services.

Salan began his career with NEC as national operations manager for NECFS in 1996. In that role he managed credit, collections and information technology. He later was named director of the sales finance division in 1998 and assumed sales and marketing responsibilities. He served in that role until 2003 when he was promoted to vice president and general manager and named to the company’s board of directors.

Salan also has served as a committee member of the NEC Saving and Retirement Committee (2000-2007) and is a member of the NEC Foundation of America Investment Committee.

In addition to Salan’s promotion, John Hayes was elevated to treasurer in addition to his duties as controller. Hayes joined NEC Financial Services during 2007 and will continue to oversee the company’s accounting and financial reporting while having responsibility for treasury operations for the company’s group finance responsibilities.
