NXT Capital Hires Fisher as Managing Director of Investor Solutions

NXT Capital, a provider of direct lending and structured financing solutions, hired Jake Fisher as managing director of investor solutions. Fisher will be responsible for capital development and relationship management with institutional investors. His role will also include product development, investor marketing, due diligence, onboarding and ongoing customer service.

Fisher has 18 years of experience in capital development, origination, underwriting and legal roles in below investment grade corporate credit. Prior to joining NXT Capital, he was a managing director at Crescent Capital Group, with similar responsibilities serving institutional investors. Previously, Fisher held various roles at Antares Capital and Citigroup Global Markets. He began his career as a banking attorney at Weil Gotshal & Manges.

“We are pleased to have a professional of Jake’s caliber join NXT Capital. With his experience, NXT expects to expand our relationships with the institutional investor community and the consultants that work with them,” John Finnerty, chairman and CEO of NXT Capital, said. “Jake’s expertise will help enhance our position as a leader in middle-market direct lending and help position NXT Capital for future growth.”

“I’m excited to join NXT Capital’s investor solutions team,” Fisher said. “NXT is a longstanding and significant player in the private credit space, and I look forward to helping the firm expand its institutional investor footprint.”
