Oakmont Capital Services Promotes Strangler, Birr and Laird

Oakmont Capital Services promoted Sara Birr and Trista Strangler to supervisor roles at its Minnesota location and Melanie Laird to a finance coordinator role at its Pennsylvania headquarters.

Birr was specifically promoted to documentation supervisor. She will continue to focus on day-to-day operations and document processing. Her expanded responsibilities include helping develop/implement document automation and facilitating regular departmental meetings in addition to supervisor duties.

Stangler was promoted from titling/operations specialist to titling supervisor. In this role, Strangler will continue her responsibilities processing titling approvals/packages, including day-to-day operations and offering support and training to OCS’ team. Her new job functions include supervisory duties as well as helping develop/implement titling efficiencies and facilitating regular departmental meetings.

“As we continue to grow at OCS, it will be beneficial to the documentation and titling team to have this added level of guidance and leadership available to them,” Tracey Elfering, CLFP, documentation and titling manager at OCS, said. “Thank you to Sara and Trista for your hard work and dedication to OCS and willingness to take on the added ‘make it possible’ responsibilities for our customers and partners. Our leadership team is thankful to have such talented individuals within our growing family.”

Laird was promoted from operations specialist to finance coordinator. She will work closely with OCS’ business development officers in her new role, helping coordinate open opportunities, including, but not limited to, entering new customer applications, preparing manufacturer subsidy requests and documentation, and reviewing signed documents.

“Melanie, who recently celebrated her one-year anniversary with OCS, has been a wonderful addition to our team,” Jim Peach, CLFP, senior vice president of sales and marketing at OCS, said. “With her transition to finance coordinator, she’ll support our business development officers, taking on a new role while expanding her responsibilities. We’re excited to add her to our growing finance coordinator team.”
