Reuters: IranAir to Purchase 20 Planes From ATR



Reuters reported that IranAir entered a contract with ATR — a company jointly owned by Airbus and Italian aerospace company Leonardo — to purchase 20 planes.

According to Reuters, this agreement comes after Iran’s deal with Airbus and Boeing last year to buy approximately 180 planes, which ended its almost 40-year hiatus from purchasing aircraft built in the West.
