ServisFirst Bank Names Farrell Chairman of Tennessee



ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares, hired Jake Farrell to serve as chairman of Tennessee, working alongside Joel E. Smith, market president in Memphis, TN, and Bradford Vieira, regional president and CEO of ServisFirst Bank Tennessee, to grow the bank’s market in Memphis and Nashville, TN.

Farrell will be based in the ServisFirst Bank Memphis office. Farrell has nearly 50 years of experience in the banking industry, including more than four decades serving the Memphis and Nashville regions. Most recently, Farrell served as a key figure at Landmark Bank, where he joined in 2009 and spearheaded its growth until it was sold in 2021.

Not only is Jake a great banker, but he has been a good friend for many years,” Tom Broughton, chairman, CEO and president of ServisFirst Bank, said. “ServisFirst had a close correspondent banking relationship with Landmark before the bank was sold, and we are thrilled to have this opportunity.”

Farrell has experience in commercial lending, business development and strategic planning. He also has been actively involved with in various philanthropic initiatives and community development projects.

ServisFirst Bank’s Memphis office is currently operating as a loan production office and plans to be in its permanent location later this fall.
