Societe Generale Equipment Finance (SGEF) will host The Leasing Foundation’s Second Annual Conference in Paris on October 2 and 3 2014. The event will be held at the SGEF corporate headquarters, Tours Societe Generale, in La Defense, Paris.

The conference, which is chaired by Societe Generale Equipment Finance CEO Marie-Christine Ducholet, is open to Foundation Governors, Fellows and invited guests.

Last year’s event, chaired by Chris Sullivan, chief executive of the RBS UK Corporate Banking Division and held at the RBS Bishopsgate London headquarters, brought together 130 industry specialists to explore issues including diversity and human capital, education and philanthropy.

Peter Thomas, Foundation COO says: “We want to build on our First Annual Conference to create an event where we can explore key issues for the industry. The European context is becoming increasingly important to the Foundation, and so we are delighted that SGEF, through the personal support of Governor Marie-Christine and Founding Fellow Patrick Gouin, can help us address that context by generously hosting our Second Annual Conference in Paris. Our organizing committee is already working to create a conference and social program that will be truly exceptional: one that helps our existing Governors and Fellows – and those newly- joining us in 2014 – meet, discuss and debate the real issues that face the industry”.

The conference will consist of half day program for the Leasing Foundation Future Leaders on October 2 and a full-day conference program on October 3, followed by an evening event for Governors, Fellows, invited guests and their partners.
