Société Générale Equipment Finance to Provide Financing for Volta Trucks Customers

Volta Trucks, a manufacturer of all-electric trucks, entered into a partnership agreement with Société Générale Equipment Finance to offer financing as part of Volta Trucks’ truck-as-a-service (TaaS) solution.

Société Générale Equipment Finance will offer Volta Trucks customers financing programs for operational and financial leasing to support customer agreements in the manufacturer’s European markets for up to eight years.

Volta Trucks’ TaaS solution provides several turnkey package solutions, such as financing, insurance, and service and maintenance.

“We are very excited about the partnership with Société Générale Equipment Finance. Their extensive financial expertise will help us expand our reach, accelerate fleet introduction and drive positive change in the industry,” Essa Al-Saleh, CEO of Volta Trucks, said. “These tailored finance offers together with the residual value of a Volta Zero mean we can provide the customer with a lower total cost of ownership as we continue to drive the transition to an all-electric future.”

“Here at Société Générale Equipment Finance, we are resolute in our support for initiatives that contribute to a greener future. This financial support creates opportunities to convert to electric vehicle fleets and at the same time promotes sustainability and innovation within the industry,” Florence Rousel-Pollet, chief commercial officer of Société Générale Equipment Finance, said. “We are pleased to be able to play a role in the transition to electric vehicle fleets in Europe.”
