Trailcon Leasing, a Canadian trailer rental and leasing company, promoted John Foss to executive manager national accounts.

“John has shown great advancement, and this promotion reflects our appreciation for his dedication to Trailcon and the important role he has played in our success,” said Trailcon Leasing President Alan Boughton. “As Trailcon embarks on its 25th year, we recognize team members like John who have enabled us to grow and prosper over the years.”

Foss joined the Trailcon team in 2005 as an account manager and has worked to expand the company’s reach in the Canadian market by bolstering the service, rental and lease portfolio he manages.

“John works with incredible integrity and takes great care of his clients,” said Mike Krell, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Trailcon. “This promotion is very well deserved. He has worked diligently to build our customer base and provide our clients with the excellent service for which Trailcon is known.”

In his new capacity, Foss will continue to service and develop Trailcon’s existing accounts, while growing the company’s portfolio of major regional and national accounts.

An active volunteer and industry advocate, Foss is co-chair of the Ontario Trucking Association’s NEXT GENERATION Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) program. He is also a former president and long-time executive board member of the Toronto Transportation Club.

Founded by Boughton in 1992, Trailcon has a fleet of more than 7,000 units consisting of dry vans, refrigerated and heated trailers, intermodal containers, chassis and storage trailers. Trailcon offers short-term rentals and long-term leases of its equipment to a variety of industries.
