Transervice Logistics was recognized for its corporate social responsibility as one of Long Island Business News’ 2023 Corporate Citizenship Honorees. Sean Schnipper, director of marketing at Transervice, accepted their award for Small Business Corporate Citizen of the Year at an award ceremony on September 19 held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY.
The Corporate Citizenship Awards recognizes companies and individuals who believe that, by being a good corporate citizen, they contribute to the economic and social well-being of their employees, businesses and the community.
“The Transervice tradition of excellence applies not only to the services we provide to our customers but also to the financial and team support we give to worthy causes in our local community,” Gregg Nierenberg, president and CEO of Lily and Transervice, said. “All of our employees are honored to be a recipient once again of this prestigious and meaningful Corporate Citizenship Award from Long Island Business News.”
Among the many charities that Transervice and its employees support are the following Long Island organizations:
• The Book Fairies, an organization that collects reading materials for people in need throughout metropolitan New York
• Salvation Army, a relief agency among the first to arrive with help after natural or man-made disasters
• Red Nose Day, an annual fundraising campaign to end the cycle of child poverty and ensure a healthy future for all children.
