Transfac Capital created a new group focused solely on serving the transportation industry. The company hired Jefferey Hogg as the first regional vice president for the group.

Hogg began his 20-year career as a commercial driver, transitioning into finance as an inside sales specialist with TAB Bank. His experience includes serving as vice president of business development for the Western U.S., and most recently, vice president of equipment financing with a focus on long-haul transportation equipment. Hogg is a member of several state trucking associations and industry organizations.

“The recent acquisition of Transfac Capital by Commercial Credit, Inc. has given us the opportunity to build on our established platform and transportation knowledge,” said Steve Sala, senior vice president and general manager. “The new team, focused specifically on the commercial transportation market, will develop this key segment of our business. Jefferey’s background and experience make him an ideal fit for this group.”

Hogg will hold the title of regional vice president, transportation and report directly to Sala.
