U.S. Crude Oil Prices Rise to Three-Year High



The Wall Street Journal reported that U.S. crude prices reached a three-year high last week as producers, including OPEC and Russia, contain production and stockpiles dwindle.

According to the Journal, U.S. crude futures rose $1.14, or 1.77%, to $65.61 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent, the global benchmark, rose 57 cents, or 0.81%, to $70.53 a barrel – the highest rate since late 2014.
