WebBank Promotes Stanford to EVP and CFO

WebBank promoted Steve Stanford to executive vice president and CFO.

Stanford joined WebBank in June 2007 as an assistant controller, bringing several years of audit and accounting experience. During his nearly 17-year tenure at the bank, Stanford has held positions with increasing levels of responsibility, including vice president and controller, vice president of finance and controller, and most recently, senior vice president and CFO. Stanford has assisted in designing strategic partner program structures; building out the bank’s funding diversification, including deposit strategies; and managing the growth and build out of the bank’s finance, treasury and accounting functions as it continued to scale.

In his role, Stanford is responsible for the bank’s financial strategies, leading the finance organization, managing the budget, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring effective utilization of financial resources to enhance profitability and drive growth.

“Steve has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, financial acumen and strategic vision throughout his tenure with WebBank,” Jason Lloyd, president and CEO of WebBank, said. “Steve’s contributions extend beyond his finance expertise, serving as a vital member of WebBank’s executive leadership team.”
